Wonderland Classic & Sports Car Festival Terms & Conditions + FAQ's
Covid-19
This festival and the activities within will be subject to the applicable Government Covid regulations at the time.
In the event of cancellation due to Government regulations you will be offered a full refund against pre-paid entry fees or deposits, or the option to roll your booking to the following year's event. The organisers cannot accept responsibility for any consequential losses (e.g travel expenses, accommodation expenses, lost sales etc) due to Government Covid, or other regulations. It is anticipated that this year we will:
- Check visitor's, exhibitors, traders and crew member's temperature if we have reasonbale grounds to suspect illness on site by using infrared forehead thermometers. Anybody showing signs of fever ( +37.4 deg ) or other Covid symptoms will NOT be allowed into the event.
- Request that all visitors, exhibitors, traders and crew members use hand santizer upon arrival at the entrances.
- Recommend that face coverings are worn where social distancing is not possible (excluding eating or drinking)
- Remind everybody to keep 2M (6ft) apart at all times
- Promote the use of contactless payments
- Keep wide aisles to avoid pinch-points
- Provide many hand sanitizer stations across the site
- Regularly sanitize touch points especially in the areas of the toilets and water taps
- Avoid queues wherever possible (for toilets and trade stalls)
- Use your contact details for the festival Covid-19 track & trace register
Help us to help you all stay safe this year:
- Please pre-book by the closing date shown on the entry form to help avoid queues and delays at the entrance ... and also save you money!
- Our on-the-day entry fee has increased to £10 to encourage everybody to PRE BOOK at the discount rates.
- Please avoid queues at the loos or stalls wherever possible.
- Sanitize your hands before and after using the loos.
Passes
Passes cannot be left at the gate for collection. Any vehicle arriving without a valid pass will be charged the standard ‘On the day’ entry fee and no refunds will be issued.
Judging & judging forms
If have pre-booked and paid, your vehicle is eligible for judging on Sunday. Please complete the left hand side of the Judging Form and bring it to the main marquee by 10.30am Sunday. The judging form is for SUNDAY use only and remains the property of the organisers after the event. No corespondence shall be entered into regarding the judge's decision and marks.
The following are NOT eligible for judging:
- Vehicles not pre-booked and paid by the closing date shown on the entry form.
- Vehicles transported to the event.
- Vehicles manufactured or registered after 31.12.10.
- Vehicles owned by Capri Club Int Mansfield Notts branch members
Picnic tables and small tents
If you wish to bring along a picnic table or small tent (not for over-night use) to put up behind your exhibit on Sunday, we have now reserved a ‘Family Area’ just for you. This allows the other exhibits to be parked in efficient neat rows without losing valuable spaces. Please follow the ‘Family Area’ signs on arrival or ask a marshal.
Vehicle movements
Vehicles are not be moved during festival opening times (Sat mid-day to 8pm and Sun 10am to 4pm) without the agreement of a festival event marshal who will arrange for a safe route from the site. Reg. nos. of early departing cars will be noted and may be excluded from the next festival. If you know that you need to leave early, please inform us on arrival - you will be parked in a suitable area. Traders to arrive on site by 9am Sunday* Clubs to arrive on site by 10am Sunday* Individuals to arrive on site by 11am Sunday*
*After this time your area on the main show field will be re- allocated and you may be directed to the over-flow display field.Access routes must be kept clear at all times for emergency vehicles. The organisers reserve the right to eject from site any person and their vehicles found to be in breach of our regulationsSupport vehicles & equipment (e.g. trailers, non-display vehicles (except traders) etc). We no longer have capacity on the show field and unless the vehicle or equipment is an integral part of the display, you will be directed to park it in the Over Flow field. Speed limit - 5 mph speed limit on site.
Local highway speed limits must be adhered to when approaching or leaving the event - exceeding these speed limits will not be tolerated.
Water
A drinking water tap is located in the centre of the main show field. We reommend that all water is boiled before use.
Litter
Black rubbish bags are available at main entrance marquee and are located around the site for your litter. The rubbish skip is located close to the stage truck.
Dogs
On a lead in the show fields.
Music
All quiet after mid-night please ! Offenders may be asked to leave site without refund.
VIP guests, entertainment and show features
VIP guests, entertainment and the format/features of this event are arranged in advance in good faith. We reserve the right to alter such
plans without prior notice and cannot be held responsible for changes made that are beyond our control or any consequential loss resulting from such changes.
Camping
Available Fri & Sat nights. If you have pre-paid to stay overnight on site, please display your pass clearly on your tent / caravan / camper van etc. You must not pitch beyond the marked lines. Please pitch sensibly to make best use of the ground space.
Barbed wire
Is used on the perimeter fences. DO NOT TOUCH.
Insurance
All vehicles must have valid motor vehicle insurance for the duration of the event and include Public Liability cover. Clubs must have a suitable Public Liability cover in place for the duration of the event. The organisers cannot accept liability for loss or damage to any vehicle. The organisers cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to property or injury to persons on this show site.Any third party participating in this event (e.g. entertainers, exhibitors, food vendors, stall holders, attractions etc) must have your own Public Liability, Stock / Product Liability and Employer’s Liability Insurance covering your potential liability from your participation in this event. The organisers maintain the right to recover from such third parties in respect of claims brought against us, but for which you may be responsible. Any such third parties must provide the organisers with a copy of their insurance policy valid for the duration of the event prior to participation in this event.
Food vendors must also provide current valid local authority Health & Hygiene certificates prior to any trading activity. Copy Insurance certification stated above must either be produced on site prior to being allowed access to the event, or can be e-mailed or posted in advance to :
